Thirty teams will play in the WWLL in Spring 2027. There was little team movement but one team is welcomed back. Cal State Long Beach returns and will be a Provisional member.

The WWLL remains structured with D1 teams in a Premier Division with the nine top teams. Each team in Premier plays every team in the division for standings. Division Two will again feature North, Central and South conferences. North D2 has nine teams, Central D2 has six teams and South D2 has five teams. New program American River CC successfully moved up to North D2 and USC will play in Central D2. Both were Provisional last season but put in their time there and are now full members eligible for play-offs and individual post-season awards.  

The top six Premier Division teams will qualify for WWLL Play-Offs based on standings. It's a clean post-season selection process. In Division Two the top team in each of three conferences will receive an automatic qualifier spot in the play-offs. Another three teams will be selected at-large for a total of six D2 play-off teams. Those three teams will be selected using an RPI to determine their top six for play-offs. The RPI factors win percentage, strength of schedule and opponent strength of schedule.  

The winner of a quarterfinal, semifinal and first place format bracket for each division will be awarded an automatic qualifier spot in the WCLA National Championship Tournament.
