Annual Dates & Deadlines

Aug 1^st:  Team coaches or scheduling officers begin contacting teams & scheduling games.

Sept 1^st:  Proposals due for any changes to By-Laws due to secretary@wwll.com.

Sept 8^th (2^nd Sun):  WWLL Fall Meeting for all coaches, team rep’s and officers (via Zoom). 

Oct 18^th (3^rd Fri):  Deadline for teams to have paid league dues to the WWLL treasurer. Questions to treasurer@wwll.com.

Nov 1^st:  Schedules due completed in the WWLL Scheduler for commissioner review.

Nov 8^th (2^nd Fri):  WCLA membership applications due to commissioner@wwll.com.

Dec 1^st:  WCLA Team Membership Application (on-line form only) due completed.  No payment is due on this transaction.

Dec 1^st:  WCLA team membership dues sent in by WWLL Treasurer by check to USA Lacrosse for team membership.

Dec 15^th:  Final schedule imported into Arbiter for referee assigning.  

Jan 3^rd (1^st Fri):  Final day to submit schedule change requests based on unforeseen circumstances.

Jan 13^th (2^nd Mon):  Pre-season meeting for all coaches, team rep’s and officers (via Zoom).

Before First Game or Feb 1^st (whichever is earlier):  Rosters entered on WWLL website, scanned copy of the WCLA Verification form e-mailed to the WCLA/WWLL Roster Liaison and the wet ink registrar office signed paper copy postmarked and mailed to roster liaison prior to your first game (or earlier). Use of certified mail with tracking suggested.

Feb 15^th:  Teams must be registered/updated on the WCLA website and have inputted schedules, rosters and current contact information.

Feb 15^th:  WCLA Roster Liaison mails team provided WCLA verification rosters to the WCLA. (No action needed from individual teams, as forms are due to WWLL before first game or Feb 1, whichever is earlier).

Spring 2025 Specific Dates

April 1^st:  Teams notify WWLL they will participate in playoffs if selected.

April 6^th:  Last day to play a league game for play-off consideration. April 5th preferred.

April 7^th:  WWLL Playoffs participating teams announced.

April 9^th:  WCLA Awards forms due.

April 12^th – 13^th:  WWLL Championship Tournament, Location to be determined.  Inquire about hosting via e-mail to commissioner@wwll.com. 

April 13^th:  WWLL automatic qualifier (AQ) teams (D1 & D2) due to WCLA before 6:00pm.

May ^6th – ^9th:  WCLA National Championship Tournament, Location to be determined.
