Lacrosse was in the air as Cal State Fullerton headed north to battle the Marymount Mariners on the beuautiful campus of Rolling Hill's Preparatory in Palos Verdes, California. After the opening draw it was all Fullerton with their flawless passes along the perimeter as they attacked the goal to grab 6-0 lead at the half. But Lindsay Atwood (3g, 0a) and the Mariners fought back with 3 unanswered goals to bring the score to 7-4 with 8 minutes to go in the game. However, Fullerton dominated on the clears creating fast break opportunities as they ended the game with a 10-4 win. The Mariners are back on the field next Saturday as they head to Loyola Marymount University.
