The Marymount Women's Lacrosse program played a very tough USC Fighting Trojans on Sunday morning for the second time in the schools history. Despite a lob sided score, the Mariners led the game with 9 take aways (forced turnovers) and had an outstanding performance on the traps forcing USC to struggle in the second half on the offensive end. The highlight of the game was the stellar performance from Sophomore Goalie Andrea McKinney stopping 15 saves on the day. The most by any goalie in Marymount Women's Lacrosse history. Head Coach of Marymount Scott Cohen said "When she is in the zone she will stop almost anything in her way. The second half she was simply on fire." The Mariners will take on Cal State Fullerton next Sunday.
