Santa Cruz started the game with three goals right off the bat leading the scoreboards through the first and second quarter. Stanford made a quick comeback in the second and tied it in the fourth. after three short overtimes, UCSC #12 made a fast break from the defensive end passed it at center field to #1 who ran it in and scored to finish the game 8-7 Santa Cruz.
